Am I the only one who feels bad for the squirrel(s)? That kind of acceleration could harm the animal, not to mention when it lands. It seems cruel to me to deliberately bait the animal just to get amusement by treating it that way. By the way, I I'm not a tree hugger. I don't have any problem killing a squirrel to eat it (tasted like chicken). I'm guess I'm just not amused by cruelty.
