I have one question though, I can already have the clan tag by just going to Multiplayers and selecting the group, so why do we have to apply?
Welcome to the forums. Play a bit more and get to know some of the members. As for your question the group tag is different from the actual clan tag. Our clan tag is - \/G - which you put in your steam name once you have been approved.
