I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks like this, but I believe the vote kick and ban requires too many people to agree. For instance, we wanted to kick a player that was cade breaking and talking crap (neighbor 2) and we had to have practically everyone in the server (including his sister neighbor 1). I think the servers need to lower the amount needed.
I assume you can check logs and filter for 1 steamID? I'm thinking - do you do "maintenance" banning? What I mean is, do you sometimes check logs to see if there's ppl who get repeatedly votekicked / banned and give em a longer ban with the thinking "these ppl are disruptive and others don't like them for some reason, might as well clear em out for a week or so"?
Very true in the d2 server the person who wants to get kicked also needs to vote lol if it has not changed yet
I'm not sure if I adjusted it for the Pub server, might have been just for the Zombie. I'll take a look when I get home.
You should look into Pub. Way too many people required to kick. Earlier I was in there with two other people, and one of them was afk tried to vote kick him needed 4 votes. 3 people in the server and 4 votes needed to kick and afker......... -.-
I had adjusted the values awhile back for pub, here they are: // ratio required for successful votemap. sm_votemap_ratio "0.60" // ratio required for successful votekick. sm_votekick_ratio "0.60" // ratio required for successful voteban. sm_voteban_ratio "0.80" // ratio required for successful votemute. sm_votemute_ratio "0.60"
