Hey guys, I record a lot of demos and I noticed when I put "voice_loopback 1" in console, it muted me for the rest of the map. I am unsure why VG doesn't allow voice loopback as it just lets players hear themselves if they use their mics. It probably was not intentional, but if it was, why? If not, then can it be allowed :3

    It's because of HLDJ right?

Hmmm I'm not sure why it would mute you for that.

Only thing I can think of is it's one of the plugins I have installed, most likely the Forlix Floodchat

    Then is there a fix?
All I am doing is entering "voice_loopback 1" in the console and it replies in chat by saying something like it is against the rules and I have been muted.

Yeah I did a little research, and its exactly what I thought.

    http://forlix.org/gameaddons/floodcheck.shtml

"Players using voice_loopback (makes them hear their own voice stream, used by HLDJ and other playback tools) will be muted automatically. This cuts down about 90% of the music-spam on a server"

So in other words, it is not going to be changed :/

No I can just modify the script so that it doesn't check that var.
