Need help with custom maps crashing css on mac. All you need to do is download the map from a website first. Then copy the file into the steamapps/common/download/maps folder and copy that same file into steamapps/common/cstrike/maps. You will also need to copy that file into steam apps/yourusername/cstrike/maps folder. Note: Does not work for some maps. THIS IS ONLY A TEMPORARY SOLUTION UNTIL STEAM FIXES CSS FOR MAC.
This has been a long standing issue and it's rather annoying. I'm surprised Valve hasn't fixed it yet. Thanks for posting this silver.
