the one thing i dont like about mechanical keyboards is you hear the click clack of the keys alot more. me personally i have a logitech g510 its got 18 programmable keys on it. but ive always used logitech so i guess im somewhat partial.
Corsair is a decent brand. I'm not sure about their keyboards. Do you need that many macros This is the one I have and I love it. http://www.razerzone.com/minisite/blackwidow http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823114026
Yeah they are alittle noisy. I really don't mind though. Mechanical keyboards are great for gaming in my opinion. They don't wear out as quickly as your standard keyboards.
I've always been using laptops so im used to the flat keys with little traveling distance with my fingers
There are mechanical keyboards without the clicky noise. Depends what key caps you have on the mechanical keyboard. Cherry MX blues are the loudest ones. I personally have a Razer Blackwidow but not the ultimate one.
