CS:S Game content conversion?

Everytime I hit okay my cmd pops up, deletes all my files and closes, but it always ends up freezing,and telling me that steam isn't responding. Does this mean i have to redownload my CS:S?

 

You should never have to re download a steam game, just right click on the game, go to properties, go to local files, go to verify integrity of game cache. This should fix all problems.

 

and if it doesn't

 

I dunno, never had a steam game fail that badly

 

It was a huge counterstrike source update.
