Don't need any thermal compound with the Corsair Water cooler. Also you could go with a smaller Mechanical hard drive, I only have a 1 TB. I would go with 4 GB of Ram too as I doubt you need 8 GB.
Going to draw up some other configurations for you. You can always set up a ssd as boot drive and have a hard drive for storage. I agree 4GB of ram is enough.
You have (2) sticks of 4 GB RAM = 8 GB. You could do (2) sticks of 2 GB. Any SSD is going to be more expensive. Better to just got with a 1 or 2 TB hard drive. You could also go with more of a budget card. If you do stick with the 670 I would make sure you can get away with a 530W power supply. I believe that card requires 2 x 6 Pin Power Connectors. You wouldn't be able to do your SLI later on. I would go for ~750 Watt.
Ah, sounds good, I thought you were saying 4 GB per stick lol. And I guess I should go back to the 950W previously then? And I'm really kind of building for future proofing. EDIT: Cheaper to do the two items of 4 GB sticks then two items of 2GB sticks :B
