lag times on server

I do not know if anyone else has this problem, but some of the smaller maps lag so much I actually freeze in the game causing me not to be able to shoot. was just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

 

try turning the graphics settings down. 

 

ok did not know. I do have an older computer but i upgraded it. it has a 1 gb graphics card and 2 gb of memory. but it is a single core processer. thanks again.

 

i also play using a laptop with a video card that has 1gig of video memory.  im going to attach my config file i use and you can try it out.  it should help with your frame lag as well better registry for your shots.  this is where you will install the config file where i have E is the letter of the harddrive that you have steam installed.  mine is E because i have everything installed on a 1.5tb external harddrive. 

E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\cfg
